# 5 of 8 account-identification tools print a price; 6sense and ZoomInfo don’t

*Eight vendors’ pricing pages, the cost of one identified company, what became of Clearbit, Factors.ai and 6sense, and the DPDP line, as of September 2026.*

The short version

- Five of the eight account-identification tools we checked print a price, from a free tier to US$10,000 a year. 6sense, ZoomInfo and Demandbase, the names enterprise buyers shortlist first, print none.
- Of the three tools our 2023 post named, Clearbit now belongs to HubSpot, Factors.ai prints a US$199-a-month entry plan, and 6sense still asks you to get a quote.[1][2][3]
- For an Indian buyer the line that matters is company versus person. Naming the company behind a visit is firmographics; naming the person is personal data under the DPDP Act, and the one tool here that does it limits it to US visitors.[5]

Account identification answers one question: which companies are reading your website before anyone fills in a form? The tools look up the visitor’s IP address against a database of company networks, attach firmographics (industry, size, location), score the account against your ideal customer profile, and push the result into the CRM. Our 2023 post explained the idea and named three tools. A buyer in 2026 needs three different answers: what it costs, what a single identified company costs, and where the privacy line sits.

NoteDisclosure

This site loads the tracking tags of two tools in this piece, Factors.ai and Leadfeeder, on its public pages (not on the vendor portal or console), so we write as users of both. Neither vendor paid for or saw this piece.

## The three tools we named in 2023: one sold, one priced, one still quote-only

Clearbit went first. HubSpot announced on 1 November 2023 that it would buy the company, which then claimed more than 400,000 users and data on 20 million companies, and closed the deal on 4 December 2023.[1] Clearbit’s own site now reads “Clearbit has joined HubSpot!”; it is no longer a separate purchase.

Factors.ai went the other way and published its prices: Lite at US$199 a month after a trial, Basic at US$6,000 a year, Growth at US$20,000 and Enterprise from US$30,000.[2] 6sense still prints no number. Every plan on its pricing page, from Revenue Marketing to Sales Intelligence, ends in “Get a quote”.[3]

Read together, the three paths say something about the category. Identifying the company behind a visit has become a feature of the CRM rather than a product of its own: HubSpot bought Clearbit to fold its data into the HubSpot platform, and Pipedrive sells a Web Visitors feature inside a CRM add-on.[1][7] The standalone vendors that remain either publish a price and sell to small teams (Factors.ai, Leadfeeder, RB2B) or sell a much larger platform where visitor identification is one input among many (6sense, ZoomInfo, Demandbase). If you already pay for a CRM, check what it includes before you buy a separate tag.

## Five of eight print a price, from free to US$10,000 a year

We read eight vendors’ pricing pages. Five print a figure. Leadfeeder, part of the Dealfront group, has a free Lite plan that shows the last 100 companies a month, then Discover from €79 a month billed annually.[4] RB2B has a free plan with 150 company-level resolutions a month and paid plans at US$79, US$149 and US$199 a month.[5] Warmly starts at US$10,000 a year for its de-anonymisation plan.[6] Pipedrive bundles a Web Visitors feature into LeadBooster at about US$32.50 a company a month on top of the CRM seats.[7] The three that print nothing are 6sense, ZoomInfo and Demandbase.[3][8][9]

The free tiers are real but narrow. Leadfeeder Lite keeps seven days of visitor history, shows the last 100 companies a month and caps traffic at 50,000 unique visitors, with unlimited users.[4] RB2B’s free plan resolves 150 visits a month to a company.[5] For a small Indian B2B site, that is enough to learn whether the tool finds your buyers at all, which is the only question worth answering before paying.

Eight vendors checked: Factors.ai, Leadfeeder, RB2B, Warmly, Pipedrive (LeadBooster), 6sense, ZoomInfo, Demandbase. Five print a price; three print none. Clearbit is excluded as it is now sold only inside HubSpot; Apollo’s page did not render its prices when we read it, so it is excluded rather than counted either way.

## The real unit is the identified company, and volume does not always make it cheaper

A plan price means little until you divide it by what it buys. Leadfeeder prices by companies identified per month, which makes the division easy. On Discover the first tier buys 50 companies for €79, about €1.58 each; at 1,000 companies Discover costs €309, about €0.31 each. Activate starts at €369 for 1,000 companies and 200 credits, and reaches €729 for 4,000, about €0.18 a company.[4]

**Figure: At Leadfeeder the 50th company costs €1.58; at 4,000 a month it is about €0.18**

Factors.ai runs the other way. Lite at US$199 for up to 1,500 companies is about 13 cents a company; Basic, at US$6,000 a year for 3,000 a month, is about 17 cents; Growth, US$20,000 a year for 8,000, about 21 cents.[2] Each step up adds seats, tracked users and features, so you pay more per company, not less. Neither model is wrong. But an identified company is only worth the price if someone acts on it, and a 3,000-company plan feeding a two-person sales team is a report nobody reads.

Our view

Our view: size the plan to your sales team’s follow-up capacity, not to your traffic. Count how many named accounts a rep can research and contact in a week, multiply by the team, and buy the tier just above that number.

## Company or person: where the privacy line sits

Most of these tools are sold on naming the company. Leadfeeder, Factors.ai and Pipedrive’s Web Visitors all describe their job as revealing the organisations visiting your site.[2][4][7] RB2B goes further: its paid plans identify individual visitors and their contact details, but only visitors in the United States; everyone else is resolved to a company, and its free plan is company-level everywhere.[5] Factors.ai, for its part, advertises that it can “unmask over 75% companies visiting your website”. That is the vendor’s claim, not a measured rate, and we found no independent test of match rates for any tool here.[2]

**Figure: Naming the company is firmographics; naming the person is personal data**

*What company-level and person-level identification produce, and what each means under India's DPDP Act*

Person-level (RB2B paid, US visitors only)

- Names an individual and a contact route from a visit
- The person never gave the site their details
- Personal data: needs notice and consent under the DPDP Act
- Hard to defend for an Indian company with Indian visitors

Company-level (Leadfeeder, Web Visitors, RB2B free)

- Names the organisation behind an IP address
- Adds industry, size and location from a company database
- Firmographics about a company, not an individual
- Cookie notice still needed for the tag itself

One practical caution for Indian traffic. Reverse-IP lookup works when a visitor sits on a company network with its own address range. A large share of Indian B2B browsing happens on mobile data and home broadband, where many users share one carrier address, and those visits resolve to the carrier or to nothing. Ask any vendor for a trial on your own traffic before you believe a match rate; Leadfeeder and RB2B have free plans, and Factors.ai offers a trial without a card, which makes that test cheap.[2][4][5]

The test itself takes a month. Run the tag on your site for thirty days alongside your normal forms. At the end, take every visitor who filled in a form, so you know their company for certain, and check what the tool said about the same visit. The share it got right is your match rate, on your traffic, from your buyers’ networks. Then look at the companies it named that never filled a form, and ask your sales team how many they would actually have called. Those two numbers, accuracy and usefulness, decide the purchase; the vendor’s headline percentage does not.

If you are buying this in India

None of these vendors prints an INR price. Leadfeeder bills in euros; Factors.ai, RB2B, Warmly and Pipedrive in US dollars. Bought directly, the invoice carries no Indian GST, and you pay 18% under reverse charge on imported services; TechBag’s Pipedrive page records exactly this for LeadBooster.[7][10] Through a reseller you get an INR invoice with GST at 18% you can claim as input credit.

The regulation that bites is the **Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023**. The DPDP Rules were notified on 13 November 2025, and the duties that matter here (notice, consent, purpose limitation, security safeguards) apply from 13 May 2027.[11][12] Company-level identification sits outside the Act’s core as long as the record stays at company level, because a company is not a data principal. Person-level identification does not: matching an anonymous visit to a named individual is processing personal data the person never gave you. Our view is that an Indian B2B team should stay at company level, use forms and consented sign-ups for people, and write the tag into its privacy notice now rather than in May 2027.

How we did this

Figures as of 30 September 2026

Prices are from each vendor’s own pricing page, none of which carries an effective date; Pipedrive’s LeadBooster price is from TechBag’s intel page as it stood on 30 September 2026. Leadfeeder’s page does not label which of its two figures is annual; we took the lower one as annual because the page advertises a 30% saving and the figures differ by about that. Price per identified company is the monthly price divided by the plan’s monthly company allowance at the top of each tier; it ignores credits and seats. Warmly’s monthly figure is its annual starting price divided by twelve. Apollo was excluded because its page did not render prices; Clearbit because it is no longer sold separately. Match rates are vendor claims; none was tested. The Clearbit facts are from HubSpot’s own announcements. The statement about Indian mobile and broadband traffic is our view, not a measured share.
