# NinjaOne's valuation rose 6.5× in 28 months; its customer count about 2.4×

*NinjaOne's three funding rounds from February 2024 to June 2026 against its customer count, and what the gap means at an Indian renewal. Facts as of September 2026.*

NinjaOne was valued at $1.9 billion in February 2024 and at $12.3 billion in June 2026, a rise of 6.5 times in 28 months. Over the same period its customer count went from more than 17,000 to nearly 40,000, about 2.4 times.[1][3] When TechBag first wrote about NinjaOne in 2022, the question was whether a young remote-monitoring vendor would last. That question is settled. The one that replaces it is what a vendor priced at that multiple will want from the customers it already has.

## The valuation grew nearly three times faster than the customer base

**Figure: Between February 2024 and June 2026, NinjaOne's valuation rose 6.5× while its customer count rose about 2.4×**

*Valuation at each funding announcement and customers reported at the time, indexed to February 2024 = 100*

ReportedThe three announcements

February 2024: $231.5 million Series C at $1.9 billion, more than 17,000 customers.[1] February 2025: $500 million in Series C extensions at $5 billion, more than 24,000 customers, and an agreement to buy Dropsuite, a SaaS backup company, for $262 million.[2] June 2026: more than $400 million in further extensions at $12.3 billion, nearly 40,000 customers, growth of nearly 70% in 2025, and a profitable first quarter of 2026.[3]

## What the gap means at renewal

The 2022 post listed nine capabilities: monitoring and management, patching, asset management, a service desk, backup, documentation, endpoint management, remote access and software deployment. Since then NinjaOne has added mobile device management and SaaS backup, the Dropsuite product, and has named vulnerability management as a focus.[2][3] Investors paying 6.5 times more for a company with 2.4 times the customers are pricing in more revenue from each one, and the obvious route is more modules on the same agent.

Our view

Our view: that is not a reason to avoid NinjaOne. A debt-free, profitable vendor is a safer ten-year bet than most of the remote monitoring field. It is a reason to buy the core first, add a module only when it retires a tool you are paying for elsewhere, and put a cap on the per-device price rise in a multi-year agreement before the module conversation starts.

## Buying it in India

NinjaOne publishes a US-dollar band of $1.50 to $3.75 per device a month and quotes the exact figure; there is no rupee list.[4] At ₹83 to the dollar that is about ₹125 to ₹311 per device a month, plus 18% GST. NinjaOne’s hosting runs on AWS in the US, Canada, Germany and Australia, not India.[5] That matters because CERT-In’s Directions of 28 April 2022 require logs of ICT systems to be kept for 180 days within Indian jurisdiction,[6] and the DPDP Rules, notified on 13 November 2025, bring the security-safeguard duties into force on 13 May 2027.[7] Ask where your tenant’s logs live and get the answer in writing. TechBag is an authorised NinjaOne partner and earns a margin on a sale; the [NinjaOne field comparison](https://www.thetechbag.com/blog/ninjaone-assessed-against-the-rmm-field) sets it against six rivals on price and residency.

How we did this

Figures as of 30 September 2026

Valuations and customer counts are as announced at each round; the index divides each by the February 2024 figure (17,000 customers, 24,000 and 40,000 used for the later points, taking “more than” and “nearly” at face value). The 2024 figures come from SiliconANGLE’s report of the company’s release; the Business Wire original refused our request. The June 2026 round is described as Series C extensions by the company and as secondary by StorageNewsletter’s summary; we take no view on the split. Valuation also reflects market multiples, so the gap is an indication, not a measure of revenue per customer. The INR range uses the TechBag guides’ fixed ₹83 conversion and is not a quote.
