It is an extended interface for Nagios Core that is intended to be the monitoring tool's enterprise-level version. XI serves as monitoring software, configuration management software, and a toolkit. Nagios XI adds a web configuration user interface (UI), preconfigured virtual machines (VMs), a mobile application, performance graphing, dashboards, scheduled reporting, technical support via email, and more to the features of Core. Nagios XI keeps track of IT infrastructure components such as applications, operating systems, networks, and system metrics.
