What Hexnode sells as of September 2026 against our June 2024 profile: a Windows-only XDR, a device-aware IdP, and a UEM from US$2.20 a device a month.
Our June 2024 piece called Hexnode a “pioneering force” and listed a UEM plus four add-ons: Kiosk Lockdown, Secure Browser, Digital Signage and Hexnode Do. It never said what any of it cost or where the data sat. The question a mid-market Indian IT team asks is narrower: if we standardise on Hexnode for devices, should we also take its security and identity products?
Hexnode is the enterprise software division of Mitsogo, founded in 2013 by Apu Pavithran, with engineering in Kochi and Chennai.1 At HexCon25, which opened on 17 September 2025, it announced Hexnode XDR, its first endpoint security product, and previewed a digital employee experience product, DEX, that had not shipped.3 At launch the XDR covered Windows only, with macOS and mobile “underway”.2 In March 2026 came Hexnode IdP: SSO, MFA and provisioning, with logins refused to devices that are unenrolled or out of compliance in the UEM.4

Hexnode product launches, 2013 to March 2026
2013: Hexnode UEM
Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, Apple TV and Fire OS; kiosk, secure browser and signage modes sit inside it.
June 2024: our profile
We listed four add-ons and no prices. Kiosk, browser and signage are now capabilities inside the UEM.
September 2025: XDR
Threat detection and response through the UEM agent. Windows only at launch.
March 2026: IdP
SSO and MFA gated by device posture. Adaptive access and just-in-time provisioning announced, not shipped.

The UEM is the part with a track record and a printed price: Pro at US$2.20 a device a month, Enterprise at US$3.20 and Ultimate at US$4.70, with a 15-device minimum. Kiosk depth sits in the higher tiers.5 We compared those tiers with four rivals in an earlier piece and will not redraw it here.6 Neither the XDR nor the IdP has a published price; both are quoted per device or per user on top of the UEM.1
Hexnode lists in US dollars; TechBag invoices in INR with 18% GST. Our guide records no India data centre, only US, EU and UAE hosting.5 For device policy that is a procurement question. For an identity provider it is a compliance one: CERT-In’s Directions of 28 April 2022 require logs of ICT systems to be kept for 180 days within Indian jurisdiction, and login logs are such logs.7 The DPDP Rules, notified on 13 November 2025, bring security-safeguard and breach-intimation duties into force on 13 May 2027, and a directory of employees is personal data.8 Ask Hexnode, in writing, where IdP logs are stored and how you export them before you move SSO.
